The Boiler Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of industrial boilers within a manufacturing environment.   • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems, including electrical components, controls, and safety devices.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in boilers to restore proper operation promptly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance schedules and improvement plans.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and equipment performance for reporting and analysis.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or technical training program in boiler maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of boiler operation, safety standards, and relevant codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Licensed as a Boiler Operator.
  • Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems.
  • Familiarity with welding and fabrication techniques related to boiler repair.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations related to boiler emissions and operation.
  • Additional training or certification in industrial safety practices.
