About The Position

As a Kitchen Team Member — Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook , you’ll be part of the heartbeat of Ladybird Taco. You’ll prepare and cook delicious food, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and support your teammates in a fun, fast-paced kitchen environment. You’ll report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager , and live out our core values of being Caring, Humble, and Hungry every day.
Requirements
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Caring, humble, and hungry to learn
- Detail-oriented and dependable in fast-paced settings
- Comfortable working with kitchen tools and equipment
- Familiar with or willing to learn proper food safety standards
- Able to obtain a food handler’s permit
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook is a plus — but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook tacos, sides, and proteins to Ladybird standards
- Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures
- Keep prep, line, and dish areas clean and organized
- Restock and rotate ingredients throughout service
- Communicate clearly with teammates to keep the line flowing
- Receive and put away deliveries
- Support the team wherever needed — everyone pitches in
