Requirements

  • Completed the first year of PhD studies by July 2026.
  • Pursuing a PhD in Math, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Software Engineering, or similar related field.
  • Experience with computational mathematics and/or mathematical algorithms.
  • Experience with modeling and algorithm design and implementation in geometry, optimization, numerical methods, or high-performance computing.
  • Software programming skills and/or knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, C, C++, Java, etc.
  • Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026.
  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026.

Nice To Haves

  • Expected to complete PhD studies in 2026-2027.
  • Have a passion for research & development and a desire to apply mathematics to solve hard industrial problems based on business needs.
  • Strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations.
