Your BPET Endorsement Form will list the specific job codes for which your course qualifies you for a direct offer of employment. As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic, you will utilize your manufacturing knowledge to set up tools and equipment for drilling and fastening complex structures, including composite materials. You will operate various hand and machine tools, including automated equipment, to perform tasks according to specifications while ensuring safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include recognizing and reporting any equipment malfunctions, performing maintenance, and coordinating the movement of materials and tools. You will also cut, assemble, and install components, verify your work against specifications, and handle hazardous materials safely.
