About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking to provide students of Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) certified courses with the opportunity to join our 787 production teams working as an Aircraft Painter in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift. Your BPET Instructor Endorsement Form will outline the specific roles for which your course qualifies you for a direct offer of employment. Following your application, a Boeing recruiter will reach out to discuss these roles and ensure a smooth transition into your new role. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and must meet export control compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Be a student or recent graduate of a Boeing Pre-Employment Training course that is certified for the BPET Aircraft Painter role.
• Ability to wear fall protection gear, safety equipment and masks.
• Experience painting aircraft, automotive, industrial, or general painting.

Responsibilities

• Complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
• Prepare exterior surface of aircraft for painting.
• Make necessary patterns, perform layout and apply prescribed primers, paints and finishes to exterior of aircraft.
• Apply aircraft finishes and external markings to aircraft sections.
