About The Position

As a Body Technician , you will play a pivotal role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering a world-class customer experience. You’ll: Perform thorough disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicles. Ensure structural integrity by repairing and realigning frames, panels, and body components. Use advanced tools and repair methods to achieve OEM-level quality and safety standards. Communicate and collaborate with teammates to meet repair timelines and KPIs. Deliver repaired vehicles with confidence, ensuring work is complete and customer-ready. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of technical school program OR apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair methods, tools, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift up to 30 lbs., and safely perform repairs in a shop environment.
  • Education and/or Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
  • Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision
  • Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop
  • Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies
  • Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade
  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
  • The physical demands of your job must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
