Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two+ years of previous experience in a body shop
Experience using a wide variety of tools and equipment to assess and repair trucks
Independent self-starter with time management skills
Must be comfortable in a shop environment
Must provide own tools & toolbox
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds
Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
Ability to continuously stand or walk
Ability to manipulate small hand tools
Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently
Ability to use hand and power tools above shoulders

Responsibilities

Repair trucks cosmetically to OTS standards while following the work order written by the Service Writer
Follow OTS work instructions during reconditioning process and complete task in OTS SRT’s which include but are not limited to buffing, polishing, bondo, sanding, etc.
Re-assemble truck in a timely manner
Keep work area and shop tools clean
Clock in and out of ERP system and be on the correct VIN and segment
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Follow all company policies and procedures
Notify Cosmetic Supervisor of any safety issues in department
Daily use of PC and business computer applications
Performs other job-related duties assigned
