Body Shop Technician
About The Position
The Wreck Center at the Perrysburg Automall is one of Northwest Ohio’s Largest Body Shops and is part of the Cronin Auto Family of Dealerships. We are looking to grow The Wreck Center by adding experienced body shop technicians. Perrysburg Automall has been voted by their employees 12 years in a row as a Top Workplace in Toledo. The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing all accident-related damage to vehicles, restoring them to pre-collision condition in accordance with dealer and factory standards in a timely manner and with customer satisfaction as the highest priority.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an auto body technician is strongly preferred
- Ability to utilize a wide variety of car maintenance and repair tools
- I-CAR Certification preferred.
- Clean Driving record with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

- Mechanical background a plus
Responsibilities
- Repair, replace, and upgrade a variety of vehicle parts
- Perform diagnostic tests to ensure that all issues have been detected and resolved before returning the car to the customer
- Follow all workplace safety requirements
- Prepare cars to be painted by sanding and refinishing them
- Must be a team player, communicating with body shop manager, parts and others as needed.
- Communication with estimators is key to success
