Remove vehicle trim without causing further damage to gain access to the vehicle body. Properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair. Remove damaged parts using power tools and/or a cutting torch. Use proper techniques to bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment. Ability to straighten bent vehicle frames using a frame wrack. Grind and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools. Able to make cosmetic repairs and aim headlights. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Prior experience as an automotive technician or body shop technician. Ability to provide a tech school/training completion certificate. The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident. A complete and up-to-date set of tools. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Requirements
