The successful candidate will repair or replace damaged body parts back to pre-accident condition per factory and dealership specifications. The result will be a quality repair that meets or exceeds the original factory fit and be an invisible repair.

Requirements

Solid working knowledge of power tools required to perform all phases of truck/chassis repair.
Good communication in both verbal, written, and listening skills.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
Work well independently as well as part of a team.
Training in body shop repair and estimating may be required.
Training in welding preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
2+ years of Body Shop Technician experience preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Training in welding preferred.
2+ years of Body Shop Technician experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Review each repair order and estimator's notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the truck.
Install and repair truck equipment per the manufacturer's technical repair process.
Complete jobs within established time frames.
Perform work and maintain 98% return - free work.
Communicates with the shop foreman or manager if additional parts are needed to finish a repair.
Informs Body Shop Manager of all customer concerns so they may be handled before the vehicle leaves the shop.
Develops good relations with customers, adjusters, and insurance companies.
Maintains a high quality of work.
Provides proper housekeeping of the Body Shop area and overall shop appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
