The Paint Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting Paint Technicians in performing automotive paint repairs in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer, and insurance standards. This role is essential to delivering high-quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• Automotive body shop experience is a plus
• Team player with a strong focus on customer service
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workstations with required materials and parts for Paint Technicians
• Prep, mask, and tape vehicles for paint repairs
• Wash vehicles before and after paint application
• Color-sand, polish, and buff vehicles prior to pre-delivery
• Use paint supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including daily stall cleaning
