As a body shop helper, you will be responsible for a number of things throughout the shop.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Passion for the automotive industry
- Eagerness to learn
- High motivation to work for a luxury brand
- Positive energy when interacting with customers
- Ability to work within a team, maintaining focus and attention to detail at all times
- Excellent opportunity to move into other role within the dealership
Responsibilities
- Working business hours Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
- Assist the fast-paced team
- Thoroughly check-in and check-out customer vehicles
- Valet customers as needed
- Deliver vehicles for sublet work as needed
- Take trash out for body and paint side of shop (break down cardboard boxes)
- Organization of shop (jacks, stands, carts, etc.)
- Charging of vehicle scanners and shop battery chargers
- Grates cleaned out and flushed with water
- Eye wash station report sheets completed weekly
- Spray down shop floors and sweep
- Assist technicians & estimators with anything needed, including vehicle teardowns, reassembling vehicles, clean parts for paint, etc
