About The Position

Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop/Frame Technician to join our team at our Glen Ellyn, Illinois location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and frame straightening, along with a passion for providing top-notch service to our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Body Shop/Frame Technician.
Extensive knowledge of body repair techniques and frame straightening.
Experience using various tools and equipment for auto body repair.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

ASE and/or I-CAR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent and scratch removal and panel replacement.
Straighten frames and perform structural repairs on damaged vehicles.
Use various tools and equipment to complete repairs and ensure vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition.
Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to ensure repair timelines and expectations are met.
Adhere to safety protocols and company standards for quality and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
