About The Position

Mercedes Benz of West Chester, a Hudson Automotive Company, is actively seeking Body Shop Estimators to join our award-winning, high-volume service team. We are Growing! Requirements

• Previous Customer Service Experience Required.
• Previous Body Shop Estimator Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Taking pictures of the vehicles.
• Schedules service appointments.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Walks around the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the damages and prior damage.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Verifies Insurance claim information before starting repairs.
• Verifies Payments and proper documentation from the Insurance Co.
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the process daily.
• Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
