Body Shop Detailer/ Shop Assistant
About The Position
We are looking for an individual who is willing to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, yet fun work environment. We need team players with a positive attitude. This is a great entry-level job with the potential to grow and advance within. The body shop detailer cleans vehicle interiors and exteriors after the collision repairs are complete, prewashes vehicles prior to them being brought into the repair shop, moves vehicles within the lot, and performs other duties assigned by the production manager, all to be completed in a safe and timely manner. These duties may include sweeping and cleaning in the shop, taking out trash, cardboard, and disposing of the old damaged parts.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and can-do mentality
- Hardworking personality, leadership qualities and an eagerness to improve
- Willing to train the right candidate that show the above qualities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Clean and detail vehicles that were collision repaired to ensure a high rate of customer satisfaction
- Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service
- Understand and deliver on specific customer requests
- Complete post repair vehicle checklists to ensure proper operation of vehicle components
- Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion
- Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members
- Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization
- Other duties as assigned
