About The Position

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: I. REPAIR PROCESS: Use all required safety equipment. Perform inspections on trucks per instruction sheet. Determine if additional safety or service work is required. Correctly diagnose cause of any malfunction/customer complaint. Advise Service Manager/Shop Foreman of any additional repairs or costs of repair before performing work. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy and meet time guide requirements when prescribed. Document work performed on appropriate labor ticket. Punch labor tickets on time clock at beginning and end of each work session for each operation. Road-test vehicles when required. Perform any other tasks or duties as requested. Requirements

  • Should have the ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License and the ability to drive class 8 trucks.
  • Must be capable of lifting 100 lbs.
  • Must have knowledge and expertise in using and operating special body shop tools.
  • Must have adequate hand tools to perform daily duties as prescribed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
