About The Position

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Class B Fuel Transport Bobtail Driver to join our Facility Maintenance team at our Store Support Center in Nashville, TN . You will spend most of the time in the field or at the terminals, so no need to live too close! This position will be 4 PM to 4 AM or 12 PM to 12 AM. Requirements

Possess either a current Class A or Class B CDL (Class B Trucks)
2+ years experience commercially transporting fuel, oil, propane, or other hazardous materials
Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
Current Medical DOT
Clean MVR
Ability to pull the 50-lb delivery hose up to 100 feet, multiple deliveries per day
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to problem-solve effectively

Responsibilities

Load, secure, transport, and deliver fuel to commercial and industrial locations
Safely demonstrate driving skills by maneuvering trucks into position at loading/unloading points and customer sites
Fill empty customer tanks of all sizes by pulling the hose from the truck to the tank location (Customer tanks may be located indoors or outdoors)
Pay close attention to detail. Follow Operating procedure step by step without deviation
Fleet fueling, fueling on-site equipment
Properly fill out driver logs / daily paperwork and submit paperwork to the main office
Perform all truck maintenance daily, verify all safety supplies are on the truck, keep inside and outside of the truck clean and orderly, and notify managers of any issues that need to be fixed.
Maintain positive friendly working relationships with all customers, meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations.
