Bobtail Driver McCraw Oil means service. Since 1972, McCraw Oil has proudly served Texas and Oklahoma with quality fuel, lubricants, propane and related supplies. Job Summary: The Bobtail Driver is a key position that revolves around providing the highest standards of service to our customers while maintaining an uncompromising focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Daily duties are varied, and the ideal candidate has a high degree of self‑motivation and is able to work independently with minimal supervision. A high degree of teamwork is essential as the position must interact closely with our customer service representatives, sales team and service technicians to ensure that our customers get the level of quality and service that sets McCraw Oil apart from our competition.

Requirements

Class A or B CDL with X Endorsement (Hazmat, Tanker, Airbrakes)
DOT Drug Screen & DOT Physical
Must be 21 or older
High School Diploma
Good technology and mechanical/technical aptitude
Able to learn delivery & service work paperwork processes
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck and doing service/installation work.
Able to safely operate the equipment required for the position (as noted above)

Nice To Haves

Bilingual a plus
Propane Experience preferred but not required, will train and provide assistance for licensing exams.

Responsibilities

Service existing customer locations: performing leak checks; and system startups
Backup propane service technician to help handle peak demand periods (e.g., winter months)
Accurately complete delivery & work orders, manage truck inventory and assist with general branch operations tasks
Operate consistently with a safety first mindset with an relentless focus on the safety of our customers, team members, communities and strict compliance propane safety regulations
Safely operate propane bobtail, service truck, crane truck, forklift, trencher and mini-excavator
