About The Position

The position of Oiler involves lubricating and cleaning various operational equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, gears, and ejectors. The role requires reading meters and gauges, assisting in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, keeping logs, and operating lubricant filtering and purifying equipment. Additionally, the Oiler is responsible for maintaining lubricant inventory and performing related work. The job may require working a night shift and involves physical activities such as climbing stairs and ladders, walking over wet and slippery surfaces, working under piping, and lifting objects up to 60 pounds.

Requirements

• Three years of full-time satisfactory experience in the lubrication, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment; or
• One and one-half years of experience in lubrication, maintenance, and repair plus graduation from an approved trade, technical, or vocational high school or completion of an approved internship program; or
• One year of experience in lubrication, maintenance, and repair plus an associate degree from an accredited school in mechanical technology.
