About The Position

The Program Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of running the program aimed at providing a positive first experience for guests who have never skied or snowboarded before. This includes welcoming registered guests, educating them on the program, verifying eligibility, setting up ski and snowboard equipment for guests' arrival, and working with assigned instructors to ensure participants are directed to the appropriate lessons. The coordinator also maintains proper records of attendees’ days and eligibility for program perks.

Requirements

  • Strong people skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ski or snowboard at an intermediate level
  • Working understanding of setting up ski and snowboard rental equipment
  • Is flexible with hours and days of work
  • Follows established policies and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills
  • General comfort with computers and ability to learn resort applications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude while effectively dealing with the guest and other employees
  • Participate in required trainings and orientations
  • Setting up and returning all rental equipment for participating guests
  • Work closely with instructors to ensure a positive experience for the guests
  • Represent the mountain area to the guest in a professional, friendly, and polite manner
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
