About The Position

Responsibilities and Duties Perform opening and closing assignments of the boathouse. Ensure exceptional professionalism and customer service are always provided to all guests and team members. Take responsibility for the overall guest experience at Fishing operation. Create a fun atmosphere for guests to enjoy through safety briefings and dispatching/receiving of jon boat rentals and kayak rentals. Ensure that all required paperwork is completed and properly stored. Take care of all equipment and properly store/clean at the end of the day. Perform daily sales transactions and audits within the ticketing system (BOS), while accurately maintaining and balancing a cash bank Handle cash and retail sales in a professional and accurate manner Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and all major holidays Strong interpersonal and communication skills Completion of a background check Physical Requirements Standing and/or walking for long periods of time Moderate lifting, bending, and pushing, upwards to 50 lbs Sweep, dust, and pick up/dispose of trash. Work Environment Must be able to work in various weather conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, sun, and darkness with limited lighting. Skills & Qualifications: Be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Be able to work well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity, including the ability to listen carefully to and resolve guest issues to the satisfaction of the affected guests. Be able to identify potential guest issues and then develop methodologies to prevent or limit the impact of those guest issues during the course of guest visits. Be able to assimilate complex information and data for various sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need. Be able to effectively listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by team members and guests. Be able to work with and understand financial information and data and perform basic math functions. Be able to convey information and ideas clearly and effectively so that ownership of high levels of guest service is understood to be the role of each individual team member.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license
