About The Position

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: TelevisaUnivision Radio is looking for a part time board operator that has the knowledge to setup and troubleshoot mixing boards, microphones, electronic and mechanical components specific to the radio station, and computer software used for editing and broadcasting audio. YOUR DAY - DAY: Serve as part-time Board Operator during assigned shifts, airing music, liners, promos and commercials as scheduled and in compliance with Company and FCC guidelines Voice segments and commercials as needed Assist with production duties, to include recording and editing of content from remote broadcasts, screening phone calls and producing live shows Assist with social media postings as assigned by Content director or Manager Follow all studio policies, to include management of commercials and content for accuracy, timely communication of issues, airing and logging of EAS tests, logging of discrepancies, transmitter readings and compliance with company rules, policies and procedures regarding Payola, Plugola and conflicts of interest

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and speak fluently in Spanish require
• Familiarity with the following Audio Equipment materials: such as Adobe Premiere, VoxPro, Sound forge, etc.
• Requires knowledge of interviewing and developing rapport with guests and clients
• Must be able to work weekends to execute LIVE Broadcast, and remotes
• Must multitask and respond to the high demands from our listeners
• Requires good verbal and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Spanish contemporary format required
• Must be able to drive and have a good driving record
• Flexible to work holidays and weekends
• 2 years on air experience similar job responsibilities and requirements or equivalent broadcasting school experience preferred
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to (8) hours
