We’re looking for a Board Liaison/Administrative Assistant strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with business goals. The Board Liaison/Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative, strategic, and governance support to the Board of Directors, its committees and the General Counsel. This role serves as the primary point of contact for board operations, ensuring effective communication and coordination between the Corporate Secretary’s office and the Board of Directors. This role also provided occasional administrative support to the General Counsel, supporting initiatives and high-priority projects within the legal department. This is a full-time position based in Bellevue, WA and occasional travel for board/committee meetings. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, personal integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, independent decision-making abilities, technological proficiency, diplomacy, discretion, and tact.

  • Organize and facilitate board and committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agenda preparation, and preparation and distribution of materials
  • Support board member onboarding, orientation, and engagement activities and provide direct ongoing administrative support to directors for their board-related activities and needs
  • Serve as the central liaison among the Corporate Secretary’s office, and the CEO’s office and the Board of Directors, ensuring timely communication and support
  • Track and ensure timely follow-up on board actions, deliverables, and strategic initiatives
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the annual meeting of stockholders
  • Assist with special projects related to board governance, compliance, and strategic planning
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive documents, correspondence, and organizational information
  • Provide direct support to the General Counsel while the General Counsel is in Bellevue, Washington, managing high-priority projects, strategic initiatives, and external partnerships
  • Coordinate logistics for executive events (e.g., legal all-hands meetings), speaking engagements, and internal meetings
  • Track progress and deadlines related to General Counsel commitments, initiatives, and external relations
  • Manage and process expense reports for General Counsel
  • Bachelor’s degree (or Associate degree with equivalent experience)
  • 4-7 years of experience supporting executive leadership, boards, or governance functions, preferably with experience in legal industry
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; diplomatic, discreet, and tactful in all interactions
  • Demonstrated experience planning and managing high-level meetings and coordinating multi-stakeholder efforts
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Teams), and expense management software (e.g., Concur)
  • At least 18 years of age
