About The Position

GLI is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist to provide part-time clinical coverage and on-call support for its Radiation Oncology service at a local federal hospital. This is a long-term federal contract position for a Radiation Oncologist seeking highly flexible supplemental work in beautiful Puerto Rico. You will provide on-site clinical coverage on scheduled days determined in advance, along with on-call availability for urgent patient needs. Provide on-site Radiation Oncology services at the Federal Caribbean Healthcare System. Deliver and supervise therapeutic radiation treatment, including emergency/urgent care when required. Participate in treatment planning, chart rounds, and quality-of-care activities. Provide 24/7 on-call coverage during assigned periods (call-back hours are billable). Complete VA clinical documentation in CPRS and participate in required peer reviews. Comply with all VA credentialing, privileging, and annual training requirements.

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (ABR – American Board of Radiology)
  • Experienced in: Radiation therapy delivery, Treatment planning, Managing oncology patients, Radiation oncology emergencies, Using ARIA / Eclipse or similar systems
  • Unrestricted U.S. Medical License (any state accepted)
  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology (ABR)
  • BLS certification (current)
  • MUST BE a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card
