About The Position

Dane Street is seeking Board Certified Neurosurgeon to join our team for the Disability Peer Review division. This remote position is a great opportunity for physicians looking to work flexibly and contribute to the assessment of disability claims related to addiction psychiatry. Our independent contract reviewers (1099) are compensated on a per-case basis, allowing for personalized caseloads that fit your schedule.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• Board Certification in Neurosurgery.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct disability peer reviews related to addiction psychiatry.
• Provide advisory-only opinions without establishing a doctor/patient relationship.
• Manage your own caseload based on your scheduled availability.
• Ensure timely delivery of determinations and reports within a typical turnaround time of 2-5 business days.
