About The Position

The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for managing a caseload of clients, ensuring that all documentation is submitted promptly and efficiently. This role involves evaluating and supporting Registered Behavior Technicians in the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, ensuring adherence to evidence-based methodologies. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and recommend positive behavior supports tailored to individual needs. Additionally, the BCBA will manage real-time data on behaviors, prepare instructional materials, and ensure effective session delivery in various settings. Compliance with BACB supervision requirements and ongoing professional development is essential, as is collaboration with stakeholders to refine behavior support strategies and provide updates on client progress.

Requirements

  • Required certification in Behavior Analysis with maintenance of BCBA requirements every two years.
  • Fulfill continuing education requirements and adhere to BACB ethics standards.
  • Completed 8-hour supervision training and 3 hours of related continuing education.
  • Experience in evaluating and treating children with severe behavioral issues and autism spectrum disorder.
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background clearance and TB clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact with new referrals and manage caseloads efficiently.
  • Submit all required documentation promptly.
  • Evaluate and support Registered Behavior Technicians in applying ABA techniques.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Accurately record, analyze, and manage real-time data on behaviors.
  • Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources for effective session delivery.
  • Track hours and meet BACB supervision requirements.
  • Apply Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, therapists, and school staff to develop behavior support strategies.
