Purpose of the Role The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to patients at Crestwyn Behavioral Health while serving as a clinical leader and resource for staff. This role plays a key part in developing, implementing, and strengthening ABA programming across the unit. In this position, you’ll guide ABA programming, provide hands-on clinical support, and help shape a positive, collaborative learning culture for staff. The BCBA serves as a clinical leader—offering direct services, training team members, conducting assessments, and ensuring that care aligns with best practices and hospital standards. Requirements

  • Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with working with adolescent population
  • Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACB
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered byfacility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
  • Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associates
  • Trains new staff on ABA techniques
  • Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvement
  • Facilitates daily team meetings
  • Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-services
  • Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unit
  • Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in atimely manner
  • Participates in performance improvement activities
  • Follows all hospital policies and procedures
  • Must maintain license or certification in good standing
  • Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriate
  • Employee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisor
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
