The primary function of the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options made to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The BCBA also consults speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy departments. The BCBA will consult with and teach an instructional team regarding pro-active, educational programming, and behavioral supports. The BCBA will conduct intakes and develop behavior and skill acquisition plans for each client, monitor programming, update programs based on client progress and ensure Parent Training sessions are scheduled. Each BCBA is responsible for maintaining his/her certification and abiding by the ethical standards of the BACB. Here at Academy ABA we are committed to high clinical quality and care across all of our BCBAs. As part of this process our Clinical Leadership Team will provide regular oversight and support across all clinical expectations while monitoring performance via observation and data collection. Mentorship will be provided on an ongoing basis by leadership.
