Board Certified Behavior Analyst
About The Position
PALS, Inc. is a trauma-informed company providing services for adults with intellectual Disabilities in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We are currently seeking a professional to provide full or part-time hours as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Santa Barbara day program office as well as for our residential facility located in Carpinteria. We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician who is familiar with and/or willing to learn about the philosophy and practice of person-centered care. Your service area will we the Santa Barbara and/or the Carpinteria programs. We Some work may be performed remotely. Some driving required.
Requirements
- Active BCBA certification
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting individuals with trauma preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Train and support direct support staff and caregivers
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., case managers, nurses, therapists)
- Monitor data and outcomes, modifying interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
