Why This Role Stands Out No Insurance Billing – 100% funded by the Regional Center. Unique Population – Work with dually diagnosed individuals (ages 12–17 or 18+) with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions (e.g., autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety). Small Caseload – One residential home per BCBA, allowing for deep, meaningful clinical work. No Travel Required – All services are provided on-site. Multidisciplinary Collaboration – Work alongside clinical psychologists, nurses, administrators, and other experienced BCBAs to create comprehensive treatment plans. Flexible Hours – Primarily 8–5 with some PM/NOC supervision. Administrative Support – Scheduling and paperwork handled by our admin team. Ongoing Mentorship – Collaborate closely with a local Clinical Director, PhDs, and BCBA-Ds.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with Licensed BCBA Professional in the state of California.
- Two (2) years’ experience providing behavior supports for individuals with IDD and with mental health diagnosis.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing, supervising, and implementing behavior modifications.
- Demonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Competency in writing supports plans and effective verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to train and mentor others.
- Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.
- Flexibility in scheduling and availability for onsite support.
- Experience in supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to RBTs and behavior staff.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
