About The Position
This is a flexible, part-time daytime position for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Plainfield, NJ and the surrounding Northern New Jersey region. The role is designed for clinicians seeking meaningful clinical work without a full-time commitment. Responsibilities include supporting clients in district settings by completing assessments, building behavior plans, and collaborating with families and the clinical team. The BCBA will also guide ABA staff to ensure interventions are practical, consistent, and evidence-based. The company, First Children Services, is a clinician-led team focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to clients and supporting its professionals. Compensation is up to $75.00 per billable hour, with final rates based on experience, clinical skillset, and productivity. Part-time team members may be eligible for certain benefits depending on hours worked.
Requirements
- Active BCBA certification
- NJ LBA license
- Experience supporting children on the autism spectrum
- Comfortable working independently
- Comfortable communicating with families
- Comfortable leading clinical direction when needed
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with tools like VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or AFLS
