About The Position

Austill's Educational Therapy Services is the leading provider of pediatric, school-based services throughout Pennsylvania, seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work 5 days/week with students in grades K-12. This position could be either with elementary grades or assisting with FBA's throughout grades K-12. Experienced licensed behavior specialists will be considered. Requirements

  • A master's degree in a related field is required (applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, family counseling, social work) specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner, AND
  • Must be certified as a BCBA through the BACB OR licensed behavior specialist with the PA State Board of Medicine, AND
  • Minimum of 2 years of ABA or behavioral field experience with at least 1-year experience as a Behavior Analyst or Specialist, AND
  • All Company required staff file requirements (valid PA Driver's license), including all required clearances, AND
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to think strategically and work under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and develops Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs in accordance with Company policies and procedures, BACB guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
  • Supervises technicians/ABA therapists implementing behavior treatment programs.
  • Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments and develops Positive Behavior Support plans compliant with guidance from the contracting agency.
  • Provides leadership and guidance in the implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans with fidelity.
  • Trains teachers and classroom staff on implementing individual and classroom-wide strategies and interventions.
  • Supports parent training as a part of the team to facilitate the use of appropriate and supportive ABA strategies within home and community settings.
