About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIORAL COUNSELOR! Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at RV BEHAVIORAL LLC will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral interventions for clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. The BCBA will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to enhance the quality of life and promote positive behavioral changes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.
  • Experience in conducting functional behavior assessments.
  • Familiarity with working in diverse settings, including schools, clinics, or in-home services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address behavioral issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis to monitor and evaluate client progress.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a commitment to improving client outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed records.
  • Knowledge of current ABA methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and monitor client progress.
  • Provide training and support to clients, families, and staff on behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
