About The Position

Butterfly Effects is a BCBA-led organization dedicated to providing impactful ABA therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder. Led by Dr. Steve Woolf and Molly McGinnis, Butterfly Effects prioritizes making socially meaningful changes in the lives of children and families. The organization is a co-founder of the National Coalition for Access to Autism Services (NCAAS) and the Louisiana Coalition for Access to Autism Services (LCAAS), advocating for broader access to ABA. As a fully accredited BHCOE organization, Butterfly Effects upholds BACB guidelines, emphasizing meaningful supervision, family involvement, and evidence-based ABA interventions over rigid quotas. The role involves leading family-centered therapy, managing and supervising RBTs and BTs, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing family and caregiver training, all while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field
  • Active BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Strong passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Oversee RBTs and BTs to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery
  • Perform functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and create engaging, evidence-based intervention plans
  • Lead monthly sessions to empower families with ABA strategies for long-term success
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals to integrate holistic care for clients
