About The Position

The organization is a co-founder of the National Coalition for Access to Autism Services (NCAAS) and the Louisiana Coalition for Access to Autism Services (LCAAS), advocating for broader access to ABA. As a fully accredited BHCOE organization, Butterfly Effects upholds BACB guidelines, emphasizing meaningful supervision, family involvement, and evidence-based ABA interventions over rigid quotas. The role involves leading family-centered therapy, managing and supervising RBTs and BTs, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing family and caregiver training, all while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field
- Active BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Strong passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Oversee RBTs and BTs to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery
- Perform functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and create engaging, evidence-based intervention plans
- Lead monthly sessions to empower families with ABA strategies for long-term success
- Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals to integrate holistic care for clients
