About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team in our Ellsworth, PA location. Salary Range: up to $90,000 This role is responsible to develop and administer applied behavior analysis (ABA) assessments and intervention for students. Responsibilities include program development, supervision of ABA services, supervision of staff development and facilitation of training for staff and caregivers, marketing and philanthropic activities to promote and develop the program in Merakey and the community at large. Actively participates on a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Current BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) or BCBA eligibility
  • Pennsylvania BCBA Licensure

Responsibilities

  • Conducts supervisory functions of training, scheduling, monitoring and evaluating performance of all assigned staff; such as but not limited to registered behavior technicians, behavior technicians
  • Develops and oversees all behavioral treatment programs to meet the varied needs of clients
  • Identifies individual needs for treatment using skill acquisition, assessments and functional behavior assessments.
  • Develops comprehensive, individual behavior treatment plans for individuals with autism and related disorders
  • Provides required supervision for treatment plan implementation by staff (those individuals working directly with clients). This will include but not be limited to:
  • Direct supervisor of treatment of activities; frequency of supervision determined on a case by case basis and as defined by the BACB guidelines.
  • Regular consultation with therapist and caregivers, to review treatment progress and modify treatment plan, as needed
  • Oversees all data driven processes related to progress documentation and advises changes to treatment planning when progress is lacking
  • Conducts consultation with therapists/direct support to review progress and modify treatment plan, if needed
  • Directs intervention with the child, as needed, when therapist is unable to manage client’s behaviors, and/or little treatment progress is documented, and to model more effective intervention strategies.
  • Consults with interdisciplinary team (such as but not limited to teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, external stakeholders, parents etc.) to collaborate and coordinate services.
