About The Position

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide culturally responsive, work in a child's home in Oceanside & the Melville center to provide support to children with autism and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for a BCBA who is passionate about reaching diverse families and bridging language barriers to deliver exceptional care at child's home in Oceanside and the Melville Center.

Familiarity with ABA-based therapy platforms and electronic data collection tools

Responsibilities

Implement evidence-based ABA and teaching strategies (modeling, role-play, prompting, reinforcement, and natural environment teaching).
Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
Support client in practicing and generalizing skills across different activities and settings.
Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or BTs.
Provide ongoing feedback and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality implementation of interventions.
Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding participant progress
Provide recommendations and strategies for supporting skills, and goals in home and in the community.
