What we do: We provide high quality, critical early intervention programs, based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Services are designed to nurture the growth and development of young children with social, behavior, and/or language challenges. Little Leaves provides a range of in-home, at-school, and full day center-based ABA services for children with developmental delays, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders, in Virginia, the DC metro area, the Baltimore metro area, and the South Florida area. Overview The Supervising Behavior Analyst (SBA) is the qualified healthcare professional (QHP) that provides direct case management for clients. Case management includes assessment, treatment programming, with protocol modification, documentation, supervision and administrative oversight of technicians and specialist(s) for your caseload. This is a full-time position that carries a target of 8 to 10 children on a full caseload with at least 25 client facing hours per week (4 – 6 per day). The schedule is based on center operating hours of 8 – 5 PM but may vary depending on the needs of each center and region. As an SBA, you ensure our services meet generally accepted standards of care and meet the compliance requirements of funders including all service documentation, state or other regulations, and Little Leaves clinical standards, general policies, and operating procedures. You are responsible for the interventions in our individualized programming to teach new skills and replace or decrease problem behavior, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of the client(s) on your caseload. You are responsible for developing the skills of behavior technician(s), collaborating with and training caregivers, and others as needed on skill acquisition and behavior support protocols. You must have a strong foundation and continue to improve your competency in applied behavior analysis, and you may formally mentor specialists and provide supervision per the BACB supervisor guidelines as they work to advance their professional certifications. You must be able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders on the client’s team, including, but not be limited to, families, funding sources, school districts, and other providers.
