About The Position

The Learning Institute for Functional Education (L.I.F.E.) is seeking a passionate BCBA who is committed to delivering high-quality, ethical care and making a meaningful impact in the lives of clients and families. L.I.F.E. serves children, adolescents and adults up to the age of 21 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using evidence-based practices grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). L.I.F.E. utilizes principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to increase functional skills and decrease maladaptive behaviors in children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The BCBA will oversee clinical programming, supervise Mid-Levels, Behavior Technicians and/or RBTs, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role may include a combination of in-home, daycare based, school-based, and/or telehealth services within San Joaquin County. The ideal candidate is compassionate, communicative, organized, and committed to providing high-quality, ethical care.

Requirements

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • At least five years of experience supporting individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
  • At least one year of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and data collection methods.
  • Must pass background clearance and provide a negative TB test upon hire.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License, and active car insurance.
  • Must be willing to travel to clients across San Joaquin County.
  • Must be willing to complete CPR Certification during onboarding.
  • Must be willing to provide proof of immunization.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of BCBA experience preferred.
  • Experience supervising RBTs or clinical staff.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in home and/or community-based settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Design, supervise, and monitor ABA programs.
  • Provide supervision and training to Mid-Level Supervisors, Behavior Technicians and/or RBTs.
  • Analyze data and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide parent training and support.
  • Ensure compliance with BACB ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $80,000+ DOE (based on experience, caseload, and qualifications)
  • Sign-on bonus: $1,500 due after 90 days and completion of 600 hours.
