Ampersand Therapy is hiring a passionate, student-focused Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025–2026 school year. Position Details Schedule: Full-Time Location: In-person, serving an elementary school Start Date: ASAP Service Area: Behavior intervention, coaching, and staff support — no supervision of RBTs

Requirements

Active Illinois BCBA license
Proven experience in behavior assessment and intervention planning
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs in an educational setting

Responsibilities

Develop and implement functional behavior intervention plans aligned with student IEPs
Create safety plans for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behaviors
Provide teachers with effective data collection systems for all behavior goals
Coach, intervene, and support staff and students to promote positive outcomes
Collaborate with Special Services Directors and school teams to set academic targets/goals
Communicate regularly with district teams and provide progress updates
