About The Position

Laurel Heights Hospital is seeking a BCBA (BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST) (FULL-TIME). Join our talented team of professionals as we work to provide the most effective treatment utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and principles.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments.
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Minimum of a master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Certified and maintain credentialing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA in good standing.
  • Must have/obtain license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a minimum of 2 comprehensive assessments to identify the client's needs and goals.
  • Create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Supervise RBTs, providing training, guidance, and ongoing support.
  • Regularly review and analyze data to measure client progress and adjust plans.
  • Collect graphed behavioral data from RBT and interpret data for medical chart using Interpretive Data Document.
  • Provide weekly parent trainings and document findings into medical chart.
  • Lead treatment team meetings with all updates.
  • Hold weekly meetings with RBT and social worker to collaborate on treatment 3 times weekly.
  • Conduct quarterly fidelity checks.
