The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Apple Tree Autism will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism, focusing on developing individualized treatment plans and conducting functional assessments. This role involves supervising staff, collaborating with families, and ensuring high-quality care through evidence-based practices.

  • Function in a supervisory capacity, overseeing programming and training Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
  • Develop, facilitate, and conduct training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and analyses to develop behavior plans.
  • Design and oversee data collection systems to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
  • Provide direct model teaching and instructional supports as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor fidelity of implementation.
  • Provide ongoing training and supervision for paraprofessionals and ABA implementers.
  • Collaborate with families and community partners, ensuring ongoing communication.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related human services field.
  • Minimum 2 years of BCBA certification.
  • Successful completion of internship/training in ABA strategies for individuals with developmental disorders.
  • Competence in behavior management and instructional skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and interpersonal relations.
  • Knowledge of DTT programming and ABA implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience working with children with autism.
