About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who are on the autism spectrum or have other behavioral health needs. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification is required.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and patient care methodologies.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Strong assessment skills and the ability to develop effective behavior intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
  • A compassionate approach towards working with individuals facing behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
  • Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with educators and special education teams to support children in school settings.
  • Provide training and support to families on behavior management techniques.
  • Engage in diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral challenges.
  • Work effectively with children, demonstrating patience and understanding while promoting a supportive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health practices.
