Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
About The Position
At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives. Join our team and help students write their new story. As a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) at New Story Schools, you will play a critical part in helping students build skills that lead to independence, confidence, and meaningful progress. As a BCaBA, you will partner with educators, clinicians, and families to support individualized behavior plans and strengthen learning environments across in-person, virtual, and hybrid settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and active BCaBA certification
- At least two (2) years of experience supporting children with behavioral needs using ABA principles
- Working knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build trust with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Maintain a student caseload and support behavior plan development aligned to IEP goals
- Coach and support staff in behavior modification strategies using ABA principles
- Prepare documentation and track timelines for IEPs, behavior plans, and reevaluations
- Collaborate with behavior analysts and school leaders to strengthen schoolwide practices
- Partner with families to encourage involvement and consistency across environments
