About The Position
Nursing Assistant Training Miller's is proud to provide training for those interested in a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant free of charge.
Requirements
- Complete 36-40 hours of classroom work.
- Pass all classroom tests with 80% or higher (3 attempts allowed).
- Complete 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility.
- Perform all required skills successfully during the practicum.
- Pass a criminal background check, TB test, and physical prior to starting the course.
- Attend all classroom sessions.
- Complete and submit a clinical sign-in record daily, signed by a qualified licensed professional.
- Demonstrate and complete all skills checklists (RCPs) during clinicals, submitting the completed checklist at the end of the clinicals.
Responsibilities
- Complete 36-40 hours of classroom work, passing all tests with 80% or higher (3 attempts allowed).
- Complete 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility, performing all required skills successfully.
- Attend all classroom sessions to meet program requirements set by the Indiana State Department of Health.
- Pass a criminal background check, TB test, and physical prior to starting the course.
- Complete and submit a clinical sign-in record daily, signed by a qualified licensed professional, including date, hours worked, and signatures.
- Demonstrate and complete all skills checklists (RCPs) during clinicals, submitting the completed checklist at the end of the clinicals.
