About The Position
Miller's is proud to provide training for those interested in a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant free of charge. Each student is required to complete class room training and clinical training. Upon completion, students must pass the state exam to become a Certified Nurse's Aide. See below for more details on training.
Requirements
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a TB test
- Pass a physical
- Attendance to all classroom sessions is mandatory
- Students should check with the facility for details on the dress code requirements
Responsibilities
- Complete 36-40 hours of classroom work
- Pass (with 80%) all of the tests administered during the classroom portion
- Complete 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility
- Perform all required skills successfully during the practicum
- Complete a “clinical sign-in record” daily, including date, hours worked, and signatures from the student and a licensed supervisor
