About The Position
Nursing Assistant Training Miller's is proud to provide training for those interested in a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant free of charge. Each student is required to complete class room training and clinical training. Upon completion, students must pass the state exam to become a Certified Nurse's Aide. See below for more details on training.
Requirements
- Complete 36-40 hours of classroom work and pass all tests with 80% or higher.
- Complete 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility and perform all required skills successfully.
- Pass a criminal background check, TB test, and physical prior to starting the course.
- Attendance to all classroom sessions is mandatory.
- Complete a clinical sign-in record daily, signed by a licensed professional.
