BMX Race Coaches, Counselors and Zone Coaches are vital to the overall success of the BMX Race Program. In this position, you will be expected to perform one of these three roles each week. Each of these roles carries a different focus with each contributing to the overall camper experience. The BMX Race Coach is primarily responsible for supporting and tracking the daily progression and development of each camper in their assigned instruction group. Coaches also host or assist with clinics each day and support program events. As a BMX Race Coach, your goal is to ensure a high level of training and progression, making sure campers are engaged and progressing in a safe manner. The BMX Race Counselor is responsible for the health, safety and overall well-being of all of the campers within their cabin throughout each day and overnight. Counselors are responsible for supporting their campers through the week based on their individual needs. As a BMX Race Counselor, your goal is to ensure a cohesive cabin environment, individual growth and a memorable and fun camp experience. The BMX Race Zone Coach is responsible for the safety, cleanliness and fun of the action sports facilities. Zone Coaches will actively attend to one (1) action sports zone at a time, ensuring it is ready for use during open ride sessions. As a BMX Race Zone Coach, your goal is to create an inviting, upbeat and welcoming atmosphere while engaging with campers and supporting their progression as needed.
