Requirements

  • Prior automotive repair experience preferred
  • ASE and manufacturer certification, desired
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior BMW or dealership experience is preferred OR completion of an automotive program.
  • UTI Fasttrack and STEP Students are encouraged to apply.
  • Passionate about the brand and eager to pursue a career with us.
  • Desire to improve constantly and grow in your skills with training
  • Must be ambitious and a self-starter
  • Adept at navigating technology and keeping up to date with industry trends
  • ASE certified is preferred but not required.
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing.
  • Eager and determined to do quality work and earn customers for life
  • Attention to detail and follow safety protocols
  • Professional in appearance and communication

Responsibilities

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose cause of malfunction.
  • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
  • Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
