Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology are jointly recruiting a full-time advanced fellow at the Research Associate/Acting Instructor level. This is a full-time, 12-month service period, annual appointment. The primary appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. This is a year-long fellowship program with the goal of becoming an expert in BMT and immunotherapy. Rotations will include outpatient and inpatient BMT (autologous and allogeneic, long-term follow-up, etc.) and immunotherapy services. The fellow will initially function as a primary provider with direct patient care responsibilities and will have increasing levels of clinical team leadership over the course of the year. Approximately 8 months will be devoted to clinical activities with the remaining time available for clinically focused research projects.

Requirements

Career interest in hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or immunotherapy
Completed a fellowship in hematology or hematology-oncology (or foreign equivalent)
MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology (or foreign equivalent)
Submit a CV; statement outlining their interest in the fellowship program, career goals, description of their clinical and research interests; and at least three professional references (including your hem/onc fellowship director)
