About The Position

As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level technical support and service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of Honeywell products and systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and provide training and guidance to customers and junior technicians. Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in HVAC, Controls, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience with BMS, building automation, or HVAC control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage control wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with major BMS platforms (Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium Niagara).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and communication protocols.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

  • Installation & Commissioning Install, configure, and program BMS hardware and software components.
  • Commission HVAC control systems, including VAVs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, and thermostats.
  • Upload, download, and modify system graphics, sequences, logic, and parameters.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics on BMS systems.
  • Identify system faults, alarms, or performance issues and provide corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot sensors, controllers, actuators, networks, and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.).
  • Customer Support & Documentation Provide technical support and guidance to customers on system usage and optimization.
  • Prepare service reports, documentation, and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with building engineers, facility managers, and contractors.
  • System Performance & Optimization Review building performance data to identify energy savings opportunities.
  • Adjust system settings, schedules, and performance parameters to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all system changes and repairs comply with relevant standards and customer expectations
